George Azar is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sotheby's International Realty across the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia, leading one of the most influential luxury real estate platforms serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, entrepreneurs and international investors.

Widely recognised as a leading figure in global luxury real estate and private wealth advisory, George has spent more than a decade building market-leading businesses across some of the world's most important wealth centres. Under his leadership, Sotheby's International Realty has expanded its presence across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah and Prime Central London, facilitating landmark residential transactions and connecting clients with exceptional real estate opportunities worldwide.

Since assuming leadership of Dubai Sotheby's International Realty in 2013, George has overseen a period of significant growth, transforming the business into one of the region's most respected luxury property firms. In 2015 he acquired the Saudi Arabia business, before leading the expansion into the United Kingdom in 2023. Through these expansions he established a cross-border platform designed to serve globally mobile wealth and international real estate investors.

Prior to his career in luxury real estate, George held senior executive positions in international private banking and wealth management. He began his career with Merrill Lynch in the Middle East before joining Union Bancaire Privée (UBP), where he served in leadership roles across the Gulf region, including Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UBP Qatar.

His background in private banking, wealth preservation and international finance continues to shape his approach to luxury residential real estate, enabling him to advise clients through the lens of both asset performance and long-term wealth strategy.
